IMEX Frankfurt is a trade show for the meetings, events and incentive travel industry, run by IMEX Group at Messe Frankfurt. The organiser describes it as the largest trade show of its kind in Europe. Exhibitors include national and regional convention bureaux, hotel groups, venues, cruise lines, airlines, technology providers and event management specialists. Buyers include meeting planners, event agency heads, association executives, incentive travel buyers and in-house event teams.
The 2027 edition
The trade show runs from Tuesday 11 to Thursday 13 May 2027, with specialist education on Monday 10 May. This record uses the trade show dates. Meeting professionals can attend independently or apply to the hosted buyer programme, which the organiser says includes flights and accommodation.
Figures the organiser publishes
For the 2026 edition IMEX reports 13,515 total participants, 4,739 buyers from 94 countries, 2,900 exhibiting companies representing 100 countries and 73,000 meetings booked.
IMEX Group also runs IMEX America in Las Vegas each September.
