Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre gives you about 120,000 m2 of exhibition space in 10 halls, plus a congress centre on the same site, right next to Stuttgart Airport. Visitors who fly in, take the S-Bahn or drive in on the motorway all arrive at the same grounds. The operator says it is “the only trade fair center in Germany located directly at an international airport”. The venue is run by Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH & Co. KG, which trades as Messe Stuttgart. It opened in June 2007 with the sheet metal processing fair Blechexpo, replacing the former Killesberg exhibition centre.
Halls and floor space
You can size your event to the hall. The halls are designed with almost no columns, use natural light, and each has at least four conference rooms you can hire, so your meetings stay next to your stand. Every hall has two loading areas, so set-up and dismantling can run at the same time. The operator gives these figures.

The L-Bank Forum is the largest hall and sits at Entrance East. Its gallery runs around the hall and suits exhibitions, catering or VIP areas. Paul Horn Halle opened in 2018 and stands out for its timber construction. Hall C2 in the congress centre gives smaller fairs and side events a hall of their own.
Conference and meeting rooms
You can hold a full conference on the trade fair site without moving delegates to another building. The ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart has 33 conference rooms with daylight that can be laid out flexibly, and the operator says it takes up to 10,000 guests. Hall C1 has a fixed stage and a soundproof partition system, so you can split it into two, three or four rooms. Conference West has space for 700 people.
Getting there and parking
Your visitors can get there without a car. S-Bahn lines S2 and S3 reach the trade fair centre from Stuttgart Main Station in 27 minutes on a direct connection. The stop is 200m, or an 8 minutes’ walk, from the entrance. U-Bahn line U6 ends at the Messepiazza, a 6-minute walk from Entrance East, with a second trade fair stop at Entrance West. The operator says Stuttgart Airport links the city directly to 123 short-haul and long-haul destinations in 30 countries. By high-speed rail, Paris or Zurich is three hours away. Drivers use the A8 and A81 motorways next to the site, and 6,700 parking spaces are available directly at the grounds. The Bosch car park sits directly above the motorway.

Facilities and services
You can order what your stand needs from one place. Exhibitors can book complete packages or single services, including furniture, catering and media technology. Catering covers buffets for up to 12,000 people or set menus for as many as 2,000. The operator’s Guest Events and Congresses team plans and organises around 65 events a year, and FKM certification is available if you need audited visitor figures. Trucks can load and unload during events through underground access from Schenker-Allee East and West. In 2025 the operator reported 16,030 exhibiting companies and 1,064,518 visitors across its events.
