Singapore EXPO

Singapore EXPO gives you 10 interconnected halls and 32 meeting rooms across 123,000 sqm of indoor and outdoor space. It has its own MRT station and is a 10 minute drive from Changi Airport, so exhibitors and visitors flying in reach the show floor quickly. The venue is at 1 Expo Drive in the Changi precinct and is run by Constellar Venues Pte Ltd. The operator describes it as the country’s largest purpose-built meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) venue. It opened in 1999.

Halls and floor space

Large exhibitions get matching hall sizes. Halls 1 to 10 each offer up to 10,000 sqm. Halls 1 to 6 have the highest ceilings, which suits tall stands and rigging. Halls G, H and J add a smaller space that you can only book together with an exhibition hall. Apex @ EXPO and Arena @ EXPO are the venue’s concert spaces.

Conference and meeting rooms

You can hold a conference, seminars or breakouts in the same building as your exhibition, so delegates do not have to travel between sites. The operator lists 32 meeting rooms spanning two levels, grouped into named suites.

Getting there and parking

Your visitors can arrive by train without changing at the venue end. The venue sits at Expo MRT station (CG1/DT35), an interchange for the East-West Line and the Downtown Line. Bus services 12, 24 and 38 stop by Halls 1 to 3 and Halls 4 to 6, and services 20 and 118 stop at Expo Station Exit B. By road, the venue is where the East Coast Parkway (ECP), Pan Island Expressway (PIE) and Tampines Expressway (TPE) meet. The drive takes about 10 minutes from the airport and about 20 minutes from the CBD. There are taxi stands at Foyer 1 and Foyer 2, and over 1,900 parking lots. Car parking costs $1.80 for the first hour, every day including public holidays.

Facilities and services

You do not need to bring in your own crew or caterers. The venue provides a Wi-Fi-enabled network, high-end audiovisual systems, technical staff and event management personnel. Catering comes from a panel of catering partners and ranges from coffee breaks and buffets to bespoke menus. The operator says its partners can meet various dietary requirements.

If your company reports on event emissions, the venue’s environmental record helps. The operator says it runs an 11.53 MWp onsite solar system with close to 20,000 panels and has 20 EV chargers. It holds BCA Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy, ISO 14001 and AIPC Quality Standards Gold certification.
