What it organises

You get an event built around offshore technology, with a technical programme alongside the exhibition. OTC says its mission is to deliver forums that advance the science, new technologies and practices needed to develop offshore resources, and to connect the global community of offshore resource development professionals and organisations. For the 2027 Houston edition, the organiser lists 25,000 energy professionals, 30+ technical sessions, 300+ technical presentations and 166,000+ sq ft of exhibit space. It also says the Unconventional Resources Technology Conference (URTeC) will be co-located with the 2027 edition, so one trip can cover both events.

If you have a new product to launch, OTC runs the Spotlight on New Technology programme, which it says it launched in 2004. For 2027 the programme is exclusively for OTC exhibitors, and the application deadline is 28 January 2027. OTC also says it began the Energy Education Institute in 2007, offering a full day workshop during the show.
