NAB Show New York is the East Coast media innovation marketplace of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), where media, technology and creators meet. The next edition runs from 29 to 30 September 2027 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. It is aimed at professionals in broadcasting, radio, streaming, sports media, live events, advertising, marketing, TV and film, and the creator economy, and at the technology suppliers who sell to them.
NAB Show New York 2027 dates and opening hours
The organiser lists 29 to 30 September 2027 at the Javits Center, 429 11th Avenue, New York, NY 10001. Daily opening hours for 2027 have not been published yet. The 2027 dates fall earlier in the year than the 2026 edition, which ran on 21 and 22 October 2026, so check them against your own calendar. Our guide to how show cycles and moving dates affect planning covers this, and checking official show dates explains how to confirm dates before you book travel.
Who exhibits and who visits
The organiser describes its visitors as buyers investing in media, streaming, AI, creator economy, enterprise video and production technologies. Its figures for 2026, which count badged individuals, were more than 9,000 registrants and about 6,700 attendees from 72 countries. It reports that 57% of attendees were attending for the first time. About 250 exhibiting companies and sponsors took part. Read these numbers alongside our guide to understanding attendance and exhibitor figures.
The organiser’s 2026 sports preview named sports broadcasters, leagues, teams, production companies and technology decision makers as key visitors. It listed exhibitors in cloud infrastructure, remote production, AI-enabled workflows, media asset management, production switching, networking and real-time content delivery. CueScript, Imagine Communications and Haivision are among the exhibitors featured in the organiser’s own success stories.
What is on show
The 2026 programme was built around five themes: artificial intelligence, the creator economy, streaming, sports, and TV and radio broadcasting. By the organiser’s count, it ran more than 100 sessions with more than 150 speakers. Day one covered media and Big Tech, sports media, local television strategy, journalism, radio and AI-enabled broadcasting. It also included a sports track, Local TV Strategies, Post|Production World New York (20 to 21 October) and SMPTE Boot Camp. Day two focused on creators, streaming and audio engineering, including the Audio Engineering Society’s AES@NAB New York. A Career Fair ran on the show floor on both days, and the NAB Marconi Radio Awards were held alongside the show. Sessions from past editions are available to watch on demand.
