FOOD STYLE JAPAN Kyushu

FOOD STYLE JAPAN Kyushu is a trade-only food business show in Fukuoka. It runs on 18 and 19 November 2026 in Halls A and B at Marine Messe Fukuoka. Innovent Co., Ltd., a Tokyo company, organises it. The show connects food, beverage, equipment and service suppliers with buyers from three channels: restaurants and food service, ready meals (nakashoku, which covers bento, deli and catering) and retail. The organiser describes it as one of the largest food trade shows in western Japan. The 2026 show is the tenth edition, and the organiser says it will be its largest so far. Who exhibits and who visits

Exhibitors are manufacturers, trading companies, producers and organisations. The organiser’s exhibitor categories are agricultural, livestock and marine products, processed foods, prepared dishes and ready meals, bread, confectionery and sweets, raw materials and ingredients, alcohol and beverages, containers, packaging and tableware, hygiene supplies, and equipment, systems and services.

Visitors are purchasing staff from:

• restaurants, hotels, ryokan and other food service businesses
• bento, deli, institutional catering and meal delivery operators
• supermarkets, department stores and convenience stores
• online retailers
• food trading companies and wholesalers
• manufacturers
• people planning to open a business

What is on show

The 2026 show includes several themed zones:

• a Food Packaging Materials and Machinery EXPO, new this year
• a Restaurant and Retail DX and Management Support EXPO
• a Premium Food Pavilion
• a Food OEM, Ingredients and Materials EXPO
• a Natural and Wellness Food EXPO

There is also an export consultation corner, supported by JETRO Fukuoka and the SME Support organisation’s Kyushu office, and a Kyushu and Yamaguchi promotion corner. The 8th Bento and Sozai Menu Proposal CUP, run by the Kyushu branch of the Japan Sozai Association, holds its exhibition and awards at the show. For the tenth edition, the organiser has added displays on disaster preparedness food, space food, cultured meat and food made from local resources. There are also ice sculpture demonstrations by the Fukuoka branch of the All Japan Chefs Association and Kyushu yatai street food stalls.

Co-located events

• KAKUYASU DEXPO, a drinks show for the restaurant trade run by Kakuyasu, held within the show for a second year
• The 2026 Fukuoka functional food and healthcare products trade fair, with 24 Fukuoka companies, run by the Fukuoka Bio Community Promotion Council
• The 6th Hokuyo Bank Information Bazaar in Fukuoka and Hokkaido products trade meeting, with more than 60 companies on the Hokkaido stand
• The Sanriku and Joban trade meeting for seafood processors from areas hit by the Great East Japan Earthquake

A single registration gives entry to all of these events.

Seminars

Seminars take place in Hall B. They are free and you do not need to book, but seats are limited. On 19 November a series of five space food panels runs from 10:10 to 13:45. A Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries session on expanding overseas sales follows at 14:05.

Tickets and registration

Entry is for food trade professionals only. You must pre-register on the official site, which is free. Registration opened on 7 September 2026. An invitation on its own does not get you in, and each person must register separately. Visitors who have not pre-registered pay 5,000 yen per person, including tax. If you have a VIP ticket, bring it with you. Photography is not allowed in the halls. The organiser may refuse entry to anyone it does not consider a suitable visitor.

Exhibiting

Stand applications for 2026 opened on 10 November 2025. The early booking discount for standard stands ended on 30 April 2026, and applications close when space runs out. Exhibitors can take part free in pre-arranged one-to-one buyer meetings. The organiser reports that 73 buyers took part in 2025 and held 421 meetings. Past editions
