The best exhibition stand builders and contractors in Dubai, compared

The best exhibition stand builders in Dubai, on the evidence they publish themselves, are Strokes Exhibits, Spectrum Exhibition and OP3 Global. All three show a production facility of their own in Dubai, name dated stands at Dubai World Trade Centre or ADNEC, and handle design, build, approvals and dismantling under one contract. If you want a specialist, Messe.ae suits European engineering and healthcare brands, Spectacular Event Management and NOE Emirates are strong on country pavilions, Global Branding Events & Exhibitions on aviation shows, and Elegant Qubes on stands for UAE government bodies.

Dubai has a great many firms selling exhibition stands, and a lot of them are sales offices or lead-generation websites with no workshop behind them. So the bar for this list was simple: a Dubai or UAE workshop or factory address, company details on its own website, and real projects at the big venues with show names and years. Below you get the comparison, how we checked, the eight ranked builders, what stands cost in AED where firms publish it, and the Dubai rules and timings that catch international exhibitors out. For every stand builder we list in the country, see our page of stand builders in the UAE.

How we chose the best exhibition stand builders in Dubai

We started with every stand builder listed on Exhibition Directory for the UAE, re-read each firm’s own website on 5 November 2026, and added two strong firms we did not list yet (Spectrum Exhibition and Elegant Qubes). Each builder was compared on:

  • Its own workshop in the UAE, with an address on its own website. This was the first filter. A Dubai office on its own was not enough.
  • Dated projects at UAE venues, with the show and year named, at Dubai World Trade Centre, the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City, ADNEC and other UAE shows.
  • Company details: a trading company name, years trading, memberships such as IFES (the International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services) or certifications such as ISO 9001.
  • What it takes off your plate: venue approvals, storage, hire options and installation and dismantling.
  • Published prices and lead times, where a firm gives them.

Nobody paid to be included or for their position, and listing owners get no ranking advantage. We did not commission stands or visit workshops, so this is a comparison of what each firm publishes, not a product test. Several firms we list were left out of the ranking because their website gives an office address but no workshop, or because we could not find dated project work at UAE venues. They may still be the right choice for you, and they are in our stand builders directory.

The 8 best exhibition stand builders in Dubai, ranked

1. Strokes Exhibits

Strokes Exhibits LLC is a Dubai exhibition stand contractor with more than 20 years of stand building in the UAE and abroad, according to its website. It states a 45,000 sq ft production facility, a workforce of 278, its own paint booths and in-house graphics, so the structure, finish and print on your stand come from one company. Its corporate office is in Al Jaddaf, and it is an IFES member.

You can buy a custom stand, go double-deck or hire a modular one. For double-deck stands its own engineers prepare the load calculations and structural drawings, and it says it has built them at Dubai World Trade Centre and ADNEC. Its portfolio names stands for Leader Healthcare at Arab Health, Pickalbatros at Arabian Travel Market, Stanley at Automechanika Dubai and Mashreq at GBM Middle East. It says it has turned small booths round within days, while larger ones take at least a week, and it suggests allowing two to four weeks to avoid rush production.

Best for: a large custom or double-deck stand built by the largest workforce of any builder on this list. See the Strokes Exhibits listing.

2. Spectrum Exhibition

Spectrum Exhibition FZE was established in 2008 and works from the National Industries Park at Mina Jebel Ali, where it says its production facility covers more than 100,000 sq ft and its team is over 100 people. Its quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015, it won Best Exhibition Stand Production at the Gulf Achievers Awards 2025, and it was a winner at the WOW Awards Middle East 2024.

The reason it ranks this high is how much of the Dubai process it takes off you. It says it prepares and submits the drawings, structural calculations and fire-rated material certificates each venue asks for, gets your Permit to Build at Dubai World Trade Centre and registers its crew for venue passes. It builds at DWTC, the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City, ADNEC and Dubai Harbour, and its recent portfolio includes WETEX 2025, ISM Middle East 2025, Seamless Middle East 2025 and the Dubai International Boat Show 2025. It will also build from a design your own agency or head office has already created, so you do not have to ship a stand into the UAE.

Best for: international exhibitors who want the approvals, passes and build handled by one Jebel Ali team. See the Spectrum Exhibition listing.

Best for: tourism boards, energy companies and government pavilions that want a large, award-level build. See the OP3 Global listing.

Its own production facility is in Dubai Industrial City, and it is an IFES member.

Its project pages give the client, show, year and stand size, which makes its portfolio easy to check. Examples include a 456 m² stand for Siemens Healthineers at WHX, a 151.5 m² stand for Siemens Energy at ADIPEC 2022, a 300 m² stand for Al Futtaim at Ru’ya and a 90 m² stand for Kaspersky at GISEC. Its client list leans towards European engineering, healthcare and industrial companies, and it also builds abroad, at shows such as SMM and The Tire Cologne.

Its portfolio is strong on national pavilions: Lithuania at Expo 2020 Dubai, Oman at Big 5 in Dubai, Estonia and Uzbekistan at IDEX in Abu Dhabi, and Morocco at Gulfood, as well as brand stands such as BYD at WFES in Abu Dhabi and Adobe at LEAP in Riyadh. It says a stand typically takes between two and six weeks from design to installation, depending on size and complexity.

Best for: national pavilions and exhibitors working to a short timeline. See the Spectacular Event Management listing.

In the UAE its portfolio lists stands at Gulfood 2025, Arab Health 2024, Intersec 2023, Medlab 2023 and AEEDC, and Brazil’s national pavilions at IDEX and ADIPEC in 2023.

It prints graphics in-house in Dubai and also builds country pavilions, kiosks and hire stands.

Its recent portfolio is easy to date: Air France at Dubai MRO 2026, several stands at the Dubai Airshow 2025, Europastry at Gulfood 2026, stands at WHX Dubai 2026 and Kirloskar at ADIPEC 2025. It says it works closely with organisers and venues such as dmg events and Dubai World Trade Centre.

Other exhibition stand contractors in Dubai worth a look

  • Maple Expo, Business Bay. Founded in 2014, an IFES member and winner of the GCC Enterprise Award for best exhibition stand company in 2017. It describes its own CNC workshop in Dubai but its website gives only its office address. It publishes the clearest price ranges we found (see below).
  • Fairplatz, Jebel Ali Industrial Area. The Dubai production and GCC headquarters of a production group with headquarters in London and Rome and a branch in Riyadh. It works mainly for exhibition companies and design firms.
  • A Square Expo, Meydan, with a production warehouse in Al Quoz Industrial Area 1 and another in Riyadh. It calls itself a pure production company and builds for agencies as well as exhibitors.
  • Asterix Kraftworks, Dubai Investment Park 2. It also builds luxury retail and airport duty-free displays.
  • Electra Exhibitions Arabia, with an office in Dubai Design District and a Saudi office in Riyadh’s industrial city, if your shows are mainly in Saudi Arabia.

How much does custom or modular exhibition stand design cost in Dubai?

Most Dubai builders quote each stand from your floor plan and brief, so few publish prices. Of the firms we checked, these figures are on their own websites (all in AED):

  • Maple Expo gives AED 3,000 to 8,000 for a shell scheme booth upgrade, AED 15,000 to 50,000 for a custom-built stand of 9 to 36 sqm, and from AED 60,000 for large island stands or double-deck structures.
  • SOL Dubai, an Al Quoz builder that opened in Dubai in 2022, publishes starting rates of AED 950 per sqm for a 9 to 18 sqm modular stand, AED 1,650 per sqm for a 24 to 48 sqm custom stand, AED 2,400 per sqm for 50 to 100 sqm and AED 3,200 per sqm for a double-decker or pavilion. It says these include design, fabrication, installation, dismantling and on-site supervision.
  • Insight Exp, near Dubai World Trade Centre, recommends coming to it with a budget of AED 50,000.

On top of the builder’s price you pay the organiser or venue for your space and for services such as electricity, internet and rigging. Spectrum Exhibition and SOL Dubai both say these are billed separately.

Chart of published Dubai stand prices in AED: Maple Expo budget ranges from AED 3,000 for a shell scheme upgrade to AED 60,000 and up for large stands, and SOL Dubai rates from AED 950 to AED 3,200 per sqm
Every published price we found from Dubai stand builders, checked 5 November 2026.

Hiring is usually cheaper if you only exhibit once or twice a year. Strokes Exhibits, for example, says hiring is the more cost-effective option if you attend a couple of shows a year, with the builder delivering, building, dismantling and storing the stand between shows. For a wider view of the costs of exhibiting abroad, see our guide to planning an overseas exhibition budget.

Stand approvals, venues and timelines in Dubai

Most large UAE trade shows are held at three venues: Dubai World Trade Centre in the city centre, the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai, and ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi in the capital. Some of the biggest shows now use the Dubai Exhibition Centre: GITEX GLOBAL runs there from 8 to 11 December 2026, and WHX Dubai (25 to 28 January 2027) and Gulfood (15 to 19 March 2027) use both venues. Check which hall your stand is in before you brief a builder, because rules and build-up times are set by each show’s exhibitor manual.

The approval side is where Dubai differs most from Europe:

  • Your builder submits the drawings. Venues ask for stand drawings, structural calculations for complex or double-deck builds, and certificates for fire-rated materials. At Dubai World Trade Centre the contractor gets a Permit to Build and registers its crew for venue passes.
  • Custom stands take longer to approve than modular ones. Messe.ae notes that modular booths built within a set system need little paperwork, while each custom stand goes through a full technical review.
  • Deadlines are strict. Missing an organiser’s submission deadline can mean late fees, restricted build times, forced design changes or a rejected stand, according to Messe.ae.
  • Expo City needs designs early. Spectrum Exhibition says Expo City Dubai needs stand designs at least six weeks before the show, and double-deck stands need extra time for structural approval.

Lead times vary a lot by builder and season. Maple Expo recommends booking at least 8 to 10 weeks ahead, and 12 weeks for peak shows such as Gulfood, Arab Health and GITEX. Spectacular puts a typical stand at two to six weeks, and Strokes suggests allowing two to four weeks. The big Dubai shows we list all fall between November and May (from Big 5 Global in November to Arabian Travel Market and CABSAT in May), and Maple Expo names January to March and October to November as peak season, so the summer months are a sensible time to brief a builder for the season ahead.

Working with a local stand builder in Dubai as an international exhibitor

If you are based outside the UAE, a local builder usually saves you shipping a stand into the country. Spectrum Exhibition says it will build from a design your agency or head office has already created, and Maple Expo, for example, says its clients come from more than 30 countries. A few practical points help:

  • Send the show name, hall and stand number, stand size and open sides, and your brand guidelines with the first enquiry.
  • Ask for 3D renders and an itemised quote, and agree in writing what the price includes (furniture, AV, graphics, storage).
  • Ask who submits the drawings and certificates to the venue and by what date.
  • Agree whether the stand is pre-built in the workshop before it goes to the venue. Strokes Exhibits says it pre-builds stands days or weeks before a show, and you can ask for photos if you cannot visit.
  • If you are sending products or display items into the UAE, plan the freight early. Our guide to shipping exhibition equipment abroad covers the basics.

Choosing the right exhibition stand contractor in Dubai

Before you sign, check these on the builder’s own website or ask for them in writing:

  • A workshop or factory address in the UAE, and an invitation to visit it.
  • Stands at your venue, with the show names and years, ideally for exhibitors of a similar size.
  • The trading company name on the quote matches the company on the website.
  • Who handles venue approvals, permits and crew passes, and whether it is a professional exhibition contractor with its own installation team.
  • What is in the price, and what the organiser bills you separately.
  • Whether the stand can be stored and reused, if you exhibit every year.
  • One named project manager from exhibition stand design to dismantling, and on-site support during the show.

If you are still deciding which show to do, our guide to choosing an international trade show may help, and if your stand will travel between countries, our comparison of the best reusable exhibition stands covers modular systems you can rebuild at each show.

Frequently asked questions about exhibition stand builders in Dubai

Who are the best exhibition stand builders in Dubai?

On the evidence each firm publishes, Strokes Exhibits, Spectrum Exhibition and OP3 Global are the strongest all-round choices, followed by Messe.ae, Spectacular Event Management, NOE Emirates, Global Branding Events & Exhibitions and Elegant Qubes. All eight show their own UAE workshop and dated stands at UAE venues.

How much does an exhibition stand cost in Dubai?

Published figures run from AED 3,000 to 8,000 for a shell scheme upgrade and AED 15,000 to 50,000 for a 9 to 36 sqm custom stand (Maple Expo), and from AED 950 per sqm for modular up to AED 3,200 per sqm for a double-decker (SOL Dubai). Space and venue services are extra.

How far ahead should I book a stand builder in Dubai?

For a custom stand, allow at least 8 to 10 weeks, and 12 weeks for peak shows such as Gulfood and GITEX. Expo City Dubai needs designs at least six weeks before the show.

Do Dubai stand builders also work in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah?

Yes. All eight builders here work across the UAE, and all eight show stands at Abu Dhabi shows such as ADIPEC, IDEX or WFES. Several also have offices or workshops in Saudi Arabia.

What is the difference between an exhibition company and a stand builder in Dubai?

Many Dubai exhibition companies also run events, interiors or retail displays. A stand builder designs, makes, installs and removes your stand. Every firm ranked here does that with its own team, whatever else it offers.

Who handles stand approvals at DWTC and Expo City?

Your stand builder, as the contractor. It submits the drawings, structural calculations and fire-rated material certificates, gets the permit to build and registers its crew. Check this is in your quote.
