Messe Berlin’s exhibition grounds, Berlin ExpoCenter City, give you 27 exhibition and event halls with 190,000 square metres of space on one site. The CityCube Berlin congress centre is directly connected, so a trade fair, a conference and an evening event can share one location and your guests do not have to cross town. The grounds are run by Messe Berlin from Messedamm 22, 14055 Berlin. ITB Berlin and FRUIT LOGISTICA are among the trade shows in Berlin held here.
Halls and floor space
You can plan a stand area or a whole event against published data for each hall. The operator gives the length, width, gross area, clearance height and permitted floor load of every hall, with a hall plan to download for each one. The hall list runs from 1.1 to 26 and includes split halls such as 7.1a to 7.2c, the Kleiner Stern and the Großer Stern. If you are bringing heavy exhibits, Hall 25 is rated at 200 kN/m², or 10 kN/m² near ducts. The other halls in the table are rated at 10 kN/m². The operator says some heavy-duty halls have raised access floors or channel grids, so floor plans can be flexible.

Outside, the Summer Garden covers 10,000 sqm. You can use it as display space, as an event venue or as a quiet area away from the halls. The operator says every passageway linking the halls opens directly onto it.
Conference and meeting rooms
Your congress programme can sit right next to the exhibition floor. CityCube Berlin has over 22,000 square metres of event space for events of up to 11,000 people and over 50 meeting and conference rooms. It also has 8 further conference rooms with flexible partition walls, each for 50 to 300 people. Its upper hall is column-free with 12 m headroom. CityCube connects directly to more conference rooms in Hall 7 and to Exhibition Halls 2 and 4.
hub27 has a column-free 9,449 m² hall for conferences and events and a further 5,000 square metres of ancillary space. It also offers 20 variably sized rooms for 10 to 200 people, 20 break-out rooms and a rooftop terrace for up to 200 people. Covered passageways lead to Exhibition Halls 1 and 25.
Palais Berlin is a group of listed buildings with three halls and a ballroom, and it includes the historic Halls 18 and 19. It has more than 13,000 sqm of event space. The heritage-listed ballroom (over 4,000 sqm) takes events of up to 2,400 guests and banquets of up to 1,600. The whole Palais can host up to 12,000 people and has up to five flexible meeting rooms.
Getting there and parking
The operator says the grounds are easy to reach and directly connected to BER Airport, and there are taxi, underground and commuter train connections close to the entrances. If you drive, there are around 2,700 parking spaces at the entrance areas. The largest parking areas are P18 opposite Halls 25 and 26 (approx. 550 spaces), P1 in front of Hall 20 (approx. 255) and P2 in front of Hall 18 (approx. 246). CityCube Berlin has a direct S-Bahn connection, and hub27 is a short walk from the nearest S-Bahn station. For selected shows, Deutsche Bahn event fares cost up to 10% less than regular saver and flexible fares. For freight, see our guide to shipping exhibition equipment abroad.

Facilities and services
Your stand can run demonstrations and streaming on internet with 1 Gbit of bandwidth, which can be expanded to up to 10 Gbit if needed. Ancillary and production rooms can be rented for your event. Unusual venues can be rented on their own, including the Funkturm Restaurant, the Funkturm Lounge, the Marshall-Haus, the Railyard, the Palais am Funkturm and Event Hall 25. Halls can be well equipped. Hall 1.1, for example, has 4 gates with entrances of 4.85 x 5.30 m, a forklift and truck wheel load of 3.5 t, and options for gas, cooling, water connections and water drainage.
Planning your stand or visit
You can avoid surprises on build-up day by reading the operator’s downloads page first. It has a plan for every hall, the venue plan, a plan of the congress facilities, a barrier-free access plan and the technical guidelines. It also has information sheets on stand construction work, glass in stands and outdoor stand structures, plus the house rules. For road arrivals, check the information sheet on the reconstruction of the Funkturm motorway interchange. Before you book travel, confirm dates using our guide to checking official show dates, and cost the trip with planning an overseas exhibition budget. To compare venues, see Messe Frankfurt exhibition grounds and the Koelnmesse exhibition centre.
