Exhibition flooring

Montecolino

Brescia, Italy

Montecolino has made needle-punched floor and wall coverings, carpet and artificial grass, including exhibition flooring, at Provaglio d'Iseo near Brescia since the early 1970s.

Exhibition flooring

ALMA

Florence, Italy

ALMA has made needle-punched carpet in Italy since 1976 at Campi Bisenzio, near Florence, with exhibition flooring among its main markets.

Carpet or a raised floor

Most stands use exhibition carpet, often needle-punch, laid for the show and taken up afterwards. A raised platform floor lifts the stand a few centimetres so cables and lighting can run underneath, and gives a clean edge to the stand. Some venues and organisers have rules on platform height and ramps for access, so check the exhibitor manual.

Sustainability

Exhibition carpet has a short life, and several makers now offer recyclable or reusable floor coverings. Ask what happens to the carpet after the show.

How we list companies

Every company here was checked on its own website and, for most, in the member directory of IFES, the International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services. We record where it is based and which services it offers, with the date we last checked. Listings are free. If you run one of these companies, you can claim your listing to update it, or ask for a correction.
